On March 14, Lei Jun, founder of Xiaomi Group, and Li Tianyuan, General Manager of Automotive Industrial Design, jointly unveiled a new color option for the latest-generation SU7—Indigo Stone Green—at Xiaomi’s automobile factory in Beijing. This new hue appears subtly near-black under overcast lighting conditions. It joins the SU7’s existing palette of nine body colors, including Capri Blue, Chixia Red, and Flowing Gold Pink. As Xiaomi’s flagship next-generation electric vehicle, the new SU7 features comprehensive upgrades in safety, driving dynamics, intelligence, and luxury. It incorporates ultra-high-strength steel rated at 2,200 MPa and comes standard across all trims with nine airbags. Due to rising costs, the starting pre-sale price is set at RMB 229,900, a slight increase compared to the previous generation. Production of the original SU7 has ceased, having delivered over 380,000 units cumulatively. The new model will be officially launched this month and enter mass delivery, with the factory already operating at full capacity to meet demand.
