Recently, the official filing information for BYD's all-new Yuan PLUS has been revealed, with pre-sales expected to commence around mid-year. Built on an entirely new rear-wheel-drive pure electric platform, the new model measures 4,665 mm in length and features a wheelbase of 2,770 mm—over 200 mm longer than the current version. Styling carries forward BYD’s family design language, highlighted by full-width taillights, semi-flush door handles, and optional decorative panels on the D-pillar. Available options include a panoramic sunroof, LiDAR sensors, dual-tone paint schemes, and privacy glass. Power comes from a rear-mounted single motor offered in two outputs: 200 kW and 240 kW. The vehicle is also expected to feature BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery with flash charging capability—charging from 10% to 70% in just five minutes, and reaching 97% in 12 minutes at -20°C, offering charging speeds 30–50% faster than conventional models.
