Mercedes-AMG is secretly testing an all-electric high-performance AMG C-Class sedan. Spy photos reveal a sleek fastback design, large forged alloy wheels, drilled brake discs, and an active rear spoiler, giving the car a highly sporty appearance. Built on Mercedes-Benz’s dedicated MB.EA electric vehicle platform, the model supports an 800V high-voltage architecture. The standard version features a 94 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of around 800 km. The AMG performance variant will be equipped with a tri-motor setup, delivering up to 800 metric horsepower (789 hp)—surpassing the output of most traditional V8 engines. Exterior highlights include an illuminated three-pointed star grille and daytime running lights embedded with star-pattern motifs, ensuring exceptional brand recognition. The standard all-electric C-Class is expected to debut later this year, with the AMG version following shortly after. It will go head-to-head with rivals such as the BMW i3 M and Audi’s upcoming high-performance electric A4.
