XPeng AeroHT recently announced the completion of a new equity financing round of nearly $200 million, with participation from prominent investors including Hillhouse Capital, Sequoia China, Gaorong Capital, and DACAP. Notably, Hillhouse and Sequoia have invested in two consecutive rounds. To date, the company has raised approximately $1 billion in total funding, making it the best-funded enterprise in Asia’s manned low-altitude aviation sector. The company’s world’s first modernized assembly-line factory for flying vehicles was completed and began trial production in September 2025, adopting automotive industry methodologies to ensure scalable delivery of products like the “Land Aircraft Carrier.” On March 5 of this year, five “Land Aircraft Carrier” units successfully completed batch trial production and test flights. Simultaneously, XPeng AeroHT partnered with Guangzhou Urban Construction Investment Group and others to launch the Haixinsha Omnispace Intelligent Experience Center, advancing the implementation of the “Guangzhou Model” for the low-altitude economy and marking a significant step toward commercial-scale production of flying cars.
