Zhejiang Signs New Strategic Partnership with Geely Holding to Boost High-Quality Auto Cluster Development

On March 13, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and Geely Holding Group signed a new round of strategic framework agreement. As the "chain leader" enterprise in Zhejiang’s automotive industry chain, Geely Holding will deepen cooperation with the provincial government to focus on building a world-class advanced manufacturing cluster for automobiles and auto parts. Leveraging Zhejiang’s strengths in business environment, industrial ecosystem, and resource support, and combining Geely’s innovation capabilities in intelligent manufacturing, new energy technologies, and smart connectivity, both parties aim to drive the automotive industry toward high-end, intelligent, and green transformation. This collaboration seeks to deeply integrate scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation, supporting the high-quality development of Zhejiang’s manufacturing sector. The two sides previously signed their first-round agreement in 2022, which has already yielded several landmark achievements.
