Xiaomi Auto announced that its next-generation SU7 will officially launch on March 19 at 19:00 (7:00 PM). The pre-sale price ranges from RMB 229,900 to RMB 309,900—RMB 14,000 higher than the initial model. The new vehicle comes standard across all trims with multiple upgrades, including a CLTC-rated range exceeding 900 kilometers, the V6s Plus ultra-high-performance motor, fast-charging technology, LiDAR-assisted driving, a body structure made of 2,200 MPa ultra-high-strength steel, enhanced battery safety, nine airbags, triple-redundant door handles, acoustic laminated double-glazed windows, and top-tier sun-protection and heat-insulation performance. Ride comfort has also been improved through enhancements to both the chassis and seats. Lei Jun described the car as having “exceptionally strong product competitiveness.” Small-scale pre-orders opened in early January, underscoring Xiaomi’s continued commitment to the new energy vehicle market.
