BYD Seagull 06 Estate Spotted in Filing Photos, Launching This Year

Recently, the BYD Seagull 06 Estate version appeared in the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) registration documents. The new model is crafted based on BYD’s Ocean Aesthetics design language, featuring narrow, elongated headlights combined with an English-logo grille, a trapezoidal lower air intake, and diamond-shaped vents, delivering high visual distinctiveness. The vehicle measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm. It comes equipped with roof rails and dual character lines along the sides. At the rear, it retains the signature full-width wavy taillights and hidden exhaust outlets. In terms of specifications, the car offers an optional roof-mounted LiDAR and is equipped with the "God's Eye C – Advanced Intelligent Driving Tri-Camera Version" (DiPilot 100) system, which includes multi-angle cameras. Additional options include a panoramic sunroof and 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5L plug-in hybrid system, combining a 74 kW internal combustion engine with a 175 kW electric motor. It is paired with a 34.275 kWh battery pack, delivering a WLTC-rated all-electric range of 210 kilometers. The model is expected to launch later this year.
