On March 16, Zeekr officially unveiled its new model, the Zeekr 8X, positioned as the "King of the Road." The vehicle is equipped with the SEP SEA Super Hybrid System, featuring a dedicated 2.0T super hybrid engine (205 kW) and a 145 kW range-extending generator, along with a tri-motor megawatt electric drive system. This setup delivers a combined peak power output of 1,030 kW (over 1,400 horsepower), enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time in the 2-second range, a 0–200 km/h sprint in just 9.85 seconds, and a quarter-mile exit speed of 209 km/h. In terms of battery performance, the Zeekr 8X features a 70 kWh hybrid-specific battery pack, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 410 kilometers. It supports 900V 6C ultra-fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in only 9 minutes. Additionally, the Zeekr 8X debuts the industry’s first ten-source heat pump system and AI-powered intelligent energy management, providing 3-engine, 12-mode driving configurations to ensure stable power delivery across all driving conditions.
