The all-new BAIC Arcfox Alpha S5 will officially launch on March 18, with a starting pre-sale price of RMB 117,800—dropping as low as RMB 112,800 after subsidies—and comes with limited-time benefits valued at RMB 25,888. The new model is available in both all-electric and newly added range-extended versions. The range-extended variant features a 1.5L range extender (77 kW) paired with a 200 kW electric motor and a 27.4 kWh battery, delivering a pure electric range of 175 km. Exterior design follows the brand’s “Wind Sculpture Aesthetics” philosophy, featuring a deployable rear spoiler, frameless doors, and flush door handles. Inside, the cabin offers three color schemes, 256-color ambient lighting, a 19-speaker audio system, and a zero-gravity passenger seat. For intelligent driving, the Alpha S5 is equipped with Qualcomm’s SA8775 chip and the Yuanjing intelligent driving assistance system, supporting urban and highway Navigation on Autopilot (NOA). It also includes a “Smart Driving Blue Indicator Light” to provide real-time driving status cues.
