On March 16, Zeekr officially launched the pre-sale of its new mid-to-large all-electric SUV—the Zeekr 8X—with a starting price of RMB 376,800, directly targeting the core market segment of performance-oriented luxury SUVs from traditional premium brands such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi (collectively known as "BBA"). The vehicle is offered in two series: the Zeekr 8X and the Zeekr 8X Yaoying. The Zeekr 8X series includes three trim levels: Max, Ultra, and Ultra+. As Zeekr’s latest flagship SUV, the 8X is built on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform and emphasizes high performance and intelligent technology, aiming to challenge BBA's dominance in the mid-to-large luxury SUV segment with superior value for money. This pre-sale launch marks Zeekr’s intensified push into the premium market and strengthens its competitiveness in the new energy vehicle segment priced above RMB 300,000.
