Tesla plans to build its largest Supercharger station in Australia, featuring more than 25 fast-charging stalls—surpassing the current largest site in Goulburn, New South Wales, which has 20 stalls. The new station is expected to be equipped with the latest V4 Superchargers, enabling rapid charging for newer vehicle models. Currently, Tesla operates 148 active charging stations across Australia, 80 of which are already open to non-Tesla brands. Despite a 24.8% year-over-year decline in new vehicle deliveries in Australia in 2025—marking the second consecutive annual drop, with 28,856 units delivered—Tesla still leads the local electric vehicle market with approximately 28% of the battery-electric vehicle market share.
