Dongfeng Nissan’s all-new mid-to-large SUV, the NX8, will open for pre-sales on March 20. Built on the Tianyan architecture, the NX8 offers both all-electric and range-extended powertrain options. The range-extended version features a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender (109 kW) paired with a 195 kW electric motor, while the all-electric variant comes in two single-motor configurations rated at 215 kW and 250 kW respectively. All models are equipped with a 43.2 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery pack and support an 800V silicon carbide platform along with 5C ultra-fast charging technology. Exterior highlights include a closed-off front fascia, full-width daytime running lights, a floating roof design, and a 2.4-meter OLED “Star Ring” taillight featuring 2,064 individual light units. The vehicle measures 4,870 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,680 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,917 mm.
