BYD’s all-new Yuan PLUS has officially debuted in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 405th batch of new vehicle announcements, marking a comprehensive upgrade. The new model measures 4,665 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm—offering enhanced interior space better suited for family travel. It adds a 101-liter front trunk and relocates the charging port to the rear fender, significantly improving practicality. Exterior styling continues BYD’s “Dragon Face” design language, with refined details that enhance visual distinctiveness. In terms of features, the vehicle offers optional upgrades including LiDAR, a panoramic sunroof, and privacy glass, substantially elevating its intelligent capabilities. The triple-electric system (battery, motor, and power electronics) is upgraded to an 800V high-voltage platform paired with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, enabling a 10%–70% fast charge in just five minutes. Its CLTC-rated range is expected to reach 650 km. As one of BYD’s globally best-selling models, this new generation of the Yuan PLUS not only reinforces its competitive edge in the RMB 130,000–160,000 segment but also accelerates the adoption of premium technologies into the mainstream market.
