BYD Seagull 08 Spotted in Filing Photos: Q2 Launch, Priced at ¥300,000–350,000

The BYD Seal 08 has recently appeared in official filings, revealing its design based on the Ocean Aesthetics 2.0 philosophy. The vehicle features a dynamic and stylish exterior, highlighted by full-width taillights and 19-inch wheels. It measures 5,150 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,505 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. Standard equipment includes a panoramic glass roof, while optional features include LiDAR. The car is expected to be equipped with BYD’s advanced “God’s Eye 5.0” intelligent driving system, supporting urban navigation assistance, rear-wheel steering, and the Yunniu-A intelligent chassis. Powertrain options include single-motor and dual-motor variants. The dual-motor version delivers a combined output of 400 kW and pairs with a 45.36 kWh Blade Battery, offering a WLTC-rated all-electric range of 300 km and an estimated CLTC range of 400 km, with a total combined range exceeding 1,000 km. The Seal 08 is scheduled to launch in the second quarter, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 300,000–350,000. A pure electric variant will follow later.
