On March 18, Geely Galaxy launched the new "Voyager" series of the Xingyao 8, starting at RMB 160,000. The new model is equipped with the all-new Shen Dun Golden Brick battery, delivering a pure electric range of 225 km and an impressive combined range of up to 1,725 km. It features Geely’s Raytheon EM-i/EM-P super hybrid technology, achieving ultra-low fuel consumption as low as 3 liters per 100 km. For charging, the vehicle supports 15-minute fast charging (from 30% to 80% SOC) with a peak charging power of 75 kW, and its battery cells boast a lifespan exceeding 4,500 charge cycles. The intelligent driving system has been upgraded to the Qianli Haohan H5 solution, integrating 27 perception sensors including LiDAR, enabling full-scenario urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot). The system has also been optimized for 22 challenging driving scenarios specific to Chinese road conditions. Safety features include 160 km/h blowout stability control and an AES (Automatic Emergency Steering) system for emergency collision avoidance. Inside the cabin, occupants enjoy a premium audio experience with a 23-speaker FlymeSound sound system and VIP electric executive seats, significantly enhancing comfort and luxury.
