BYD Dynasty Network announced that its "Flash Charging Stations" are now available in 291 cities across China, covering 1,054 dealerships, where customers can experience ultra-fast charging—“5 minutes to a usable charge, 9 minutes to full.” Each Flash Charging Station features a single-gun peak power output of 1,500 kW, equipped with dual charging guns and an energy storage system, enabling each gun to serve approximately 50 vehicles per day. Paired with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, the system can charge the battery from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes and up to 97% in 9 minutes—even in cold weather conditions, this process takes only 3 additional minutes. Additionally, the BYD Song Ultra EV is now available at dealerships nationwide and will officially launch at the end of March, starting at RMB 155,000. It offers a maximum range of 710 km and supports optional laser radar along with advanced intelligent driving and chassis technologies. BYD plans to build 20,000 Flash Charging Stations across China by the end of this year, fully advancing its “Flash Charge China” strategy.
