Xiaomi's next-generation SU7 will officially launch on March 19. Today, Xiaomi Auto announced that the new vehicle features nine additional magnetic attachment points throughout the cabin and introduced magnetic plush toys embedded with NFC chips—simply attaching one instantly switches the infotainment system to a "cute pet" theme. Known locations for these magnetic points include the wireless phone charging area and the rear end of the center console (likely above the rear air vents). Additionally, Xiaomi previously unveiled physical magnetic buttons that can attach to the passenger-side seat bolster or B-pillar, supporting customizable bindings for dozens of functions. The new SU7 comes standard across all trims with long-range capability (Pro version achieves a CLTC-rated range of 902 km), a silicon-carbide-based high-voltage fast-charging platform, V6s Plus motors, LiDAR, an ultra-high-strength steel body with 2200 MPa tensile strength, nine airbags, triple-redundant door handles, and acoustic laminated double-glazed windows—delivering comprehensive upgrades in safety, comfort, and intelligent driving experience.
