At the recently held 2026 China Automotive Product Quality Trends Seminar, Chezhizhijian (Auto Complaints Network) and Kersa Consulting jointly announced the results of the "2025 Automotive Quality Excellence Factory" awards. Covering 596 vehicle manufacturing plants nationwide, the evaluation employed an innovative assessment model integrating consumer complaints, sales data, and production management metrics to select ten benchmark factories: BYD Jinan Plant, Yueda Kia’s Third Plant in Jiangsu, Jetour Kaifeng Base, Lotus Global Intelligent Factory, Voyah Golden Factory, Cadillac’s Jinqiao Plant in Shanghai, Seres Longxing Super Factory, SAIC MAXUS Wuxi Plant, SAIC Volkswagen Anting Plant No. 3, and Xiaomi Auto Factory. The initiative aims to promote the concept that “the factory is the brand” within China, highlighting the critical role of manufacturing in ensuring product quality and user experience. The winning factories represent a mix of domestic, joint-venture, and new-energy vehicle brands, with several recognized as top-tier production facilities within their global manufacturing networks. Going forward, the organizers will continue monitoring factory quality performance to support the high-quality development of China’s automotive industry.
