Volkswagen Unveils 2026 Caddy and Multivan T7 Teasers; Jackie Chan-Endorsed Caddy Gets Major Upgrade

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles recently released official teaser images of the 2026 Caddy and Multivan T7, both scheduled to launch in the second half of this year. Exterior updates primarily focus on revised front bumper designs: the Caddy retains its family-inspired styling, while the Multivan T7 features an adjusted two-tone body line and upgraded LED headlights. Inside, the most notable upgrade is a larger infotainment touchscreen with an improved user interface for more intuitive operation. Under the hood, the Caddy continues with its 1.2-liter turbocharged engine (85 kW), and the Multivan T7 carries over the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine (150 kW), with no changes made to either powertrain. Notably, the Caddy was previously produced locally in China under the name "Kaidi" starting in 2005 and endorsed by Jackie Chan. Although it has been absent from the Chinese market for many years, the model has continued to evolve and receive updates overseas.
