The all-new ARCFOX Alpha S5 launched today, offering seven variants across two powertrain options—battery electric (BEV) and extended-range electric (EREV)—with post-subsidy prices ranging from RMB 99,800 to RMB 168,800. Positioned as an “AI-powered high-performance wide-body coupe,” the new model features the Yuanjing intelligent driving assistance system, integrating DJI’s dual-camera vision and IMU solution to enhance perception capabilities in complex environments. The BEV version delivers a CLTC range of 630–720 km and supports ultra-fast charging at up to 404 kW. The EREV variant offers a CLTC all-electric range of 230 km and a combined range of up to 1,450 km, with a WLTC fuel consumption as low as 4.5 L/100 km. In terms of performance, the rear-wheel-drive model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in the 6-second range, while the all-wheel-drive version achieves the same in just 3.7 seconds. The chassis was jointly tuned by ARCFOX and Magna. Inside, the cabin features a 19-speaker audio system and 256-color ambient lighting, creating an immersive “4D cockpit” experience. Buyers who purchase during the launch period will receive limited-time benefits valued at RMB 31,688, including lifetime warranty coverage for the battery, motor, and power electronics.
