At the 2026 Shenzhen International Performance & Custom Vehicle Show, Geely Holding Group officially unveiled the world’s first Xingyao 6 green methanol-powered spec racing car and announced the launch of its new racing series, the "Green Methanol Super Geely League PRO," for the 2026 season. The race car is equipped with Geely’s self-developed Haosi Power DHE20TDM methanol engine, runs on M100 methanol fuel, and achieves a thermal efficiency of 48%, delivering a maximum output of 250 horsepower and 400 N·m of torque. As China’s only touring car spec series featuring sequential gearboxes, the 2026 season will host five rounds—comprising ten races total—in Chengdu, Zhuzhou, Wuhan, Ningbo, and other cities, offering opportunities to compete alongside international top-tier motorsport events. Six teams have already confirmed their participation, and driver registration is now open.
