On March 20, Xiaomi officially launched its all-new SU7 sedan, starting at RMB 219,900. In addition to upgraded specifications, the vehicle introduces magnetic NFC-enabled "cute pet" interior accessories, available in two designs: a mouse and a cat. Each pet contains an embedded NFC chip—simply placing it on the driver’s wireless charging pad automatically triggers the car’s infotainment system to switch to a matching theme, complete with custom animations and sound effects, delivering a highly immersive experience. The accessories can also attach magnetically to nine designated spots throughout the cabin, including rear air vents, the upper side of the front passenger seat, and the center of the ceiling, blending fun with practicality. Priced at RMB 79 each, these magnetic pets were highlighted during the launch event, where Lei Jun further called on toy manufacturers to develop more magnetic accessories for Xiaomi vehicles.
