In a full pivot toward the premium all-electric market, Jaguar has canceled four vehicles under development: the next-generation XJ, a smaller XF sedan, the second-generation F-Pace SUV, and an all-new F-Type sports car. Former Design Director Ian Callum revealed these projects were “already well underway,” with the XJ reportedly “nearly complete.” Jaguar has now discontinued all its current models and currently has no vehicles available for sale. The brand’s first production electric vehicle, the Type 00, will debut in its final form this summer, open for reservations in the fall, and begin deliveries in early 2027, with a starting price exceeding $100,000—positioning it as a competitor to Bentley. An all-electric SUV will follow by the end of 2027. Despite skepticism from some dealers about its business model, Jaguar remains committed to skipping hybrids entirely, betting everything on a high-end electric transformation.
