Avatr 12 Launches with Pre-orders: Huawei LiDAR + Triple Motors, Starting at RMB 299,900

The new Avatr 12 opens for pre-orders today and will officially launch on April 8. Positioned as a premium all-electric sedan under RMB 500,000, it offers multiple variants priced from RMB 299,900 to RMB 439,900. The vehicle is equipped with Huawei’s highest-specification mass-produced 896-line LiDAR and a tri-motor all-wheel-drive system, enabling a blistering 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 2.71 seconds. It features Taihang distributed electric drive technology and a 6-core main control chip, delivering computing power exceeding 4 billion operations per second and torque response speed 100 times faster than conventional mechanical AWD systems. All trims come standard with Huawei’s Qiankun CAS 4.0 comprehensive collision avoidance system, providing 360° active safety coverage front, rear, and side. Measuring 5,020 mm long, 1,999 mm wide, and 1,470/1,460 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm, the Avatr 12 offers 20- or 21-inch wheel options. Inside, it continues the HarmonyOS cockpit design, featuring a squared-off steering wheel, velvet headliner, and dedicated function buttons—blending cutting-edge technology with luxurious comfort.
