The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is intensifying its investigation into Tesla’s “Full Self-Driving” (FSD) system. The agency stated that accident data analysis indicates potential safety risks associated with FSD in low-visibility conditions. NHTSA has now entered the technical analysis phase, which is typically the final step before initiating a vehicle recall. If the issue is confirmed, Tesla could face a large-scale recall.
