New Avita 12 Launches with Pre-orders from ¥299,900, Featuring Huawei's 896-Line LiDAR

The all-new Avatr 12 opened for pre-orders in Chongqing on March 20, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 299,900 to RMB 439,900. It offers seven variants across two powertrain options: pure electric and extended-range electric. As the first model developed under the Avatr-Huawei Qiankun Strategic Collaboration 2.0, every variant comes standard with Huawei’s industry-leading 896-line LiDAR—the highest-resolution LiDAR currently in mass production worldwide—and the Taihang distributed electric drive system. The BEV version is equipped with a 98 kWh CATL Qilin battery, while the extended-range version features a 52 kWh Xiaoyao battery. The tri-motor AWD variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.71 seconds and includes a “One-Touch Boost” feature. For intelligent safety, it integrates the CAS 4.0 collision avoidance system and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, enabling all-weather active safety protection. The chassis has been upgraded with electromagnetic dampers and air suspension for enhanced handling precision and ride comfort. The vehicle will officially launch on April 8, with a pre-order deposit of RMB 2,000 redeemable for RMB 5,000 off the final purchase price.
