GAC Toyota’s all-new mid-to-large all-electric sedan, the bZ7, will officially launch on March 29 with a pre-sale price range of RMB 156,800 to RMB 209,800, offering five variants. Developed under the leadership of Toyota’s China team, the bZ7 integrates multiple Chinese technologies: it features Huawei’s Drive One electric drive system, a HarmonyOS-powered intelligent cockpit, and seamless connectivity with Xiaomi’s ecosystem—making it the industry’s first vehicle compatible with both Huawei and Xiaomi ecosystems. The exterior showcases a continuous C-shaped daytime running light, LiDAR sensors, and a sleek fastback silhouette. With dimensions of 5,130 mm (length) × 1,965 mm (width) × 1,506 mm (height) and a wheelbase of 3,020 mm, the bZ7 offers ample interior space. The cabin is equipped with a large floating touchscreen, a head-up display (HUD), Yamaha premium audio, and an optional dual-chamber air suspension (available for RMB 5,000 as a limited-time upgrade on the Max trim). For advanced driver assistance, the bZ7 employs Momenta’s R6 large AI model, enabling high-level urban and highway autonomous driving capabilities. It is offered with two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery options, delivering CLTC-rated ranges of 600 km and 700 km, respectively.
