On March 21, Dongchedi released its real-world high-speed range test rankings for all-electric sedans conducted at a constant speed of 120 km/h. The 2026 Xiaomi SU7 Rear-Wheel Drive Ultra-Long Range Pro version topped the chart with a "stranded range" of 533 kilometers. The vehicle has an official CLTC-rated range of 902 km. In the test, it achieved a reduced-speed range of 510 km (57% of its CLTC rating) and ultimately recorded a stranded range of 533 km (59% of its CLTC rating)—both figures leading its segment. By comparison, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range and XPeng P7+ Ultra recorded stranded ranges of 451 km and 457 km respectively, with both achieving lower efficiency rates than the Xiaomi SU7. The test was conducted at a constant speed of 120 km/h until the vehicles could no longer maintain that speed or came to a complete stop, offering a realistic assessment of high-speed range performance. The Xiaomi SU7 demonstrated exceptional high-speed range capabilities, thanks to its optimized tri-motor electric powertrain, low aerodynamic drag design, and highly efficient energy management system.
