Tang Jing, Head of Product Line at Li Auto, recently addressed questions regarding the supplier of the L9 Livis 800V fully active suspension system, stating that the system is not sourced from a single supplier but is instead a complete solution independently developed and integrated by Li Auto. Due to the absence of an existing domestic supply chain capable of providing air springs, dual-valve CDC active dampers, and four independent hydraulic pumps from a single Tier 1 supplier, Li Auto became the first Chinese company to autonomously accomplish this highly complex system integration. The suspension delivers over 10,000 newtons of lift force per wheel, millisecond-level response times, and eliminates the need for anti-roll bars, enabling "anti-physics" body control. Priced at RMB 559,800, the new L9 Livis Ultimate Edition is the world’s first vehicle under RMB 600,000 to feature this system.
