BYD officially launched its new all-electric SUV, the ATTO 3 Evo, in the UK on March 20. As the overseas upgraded version of the Yuan PLUS, it is offered in two trims. The entry-level Design trim starts at £38,990 (approximately RMB 359,000) and features a rear-mounted motor delivering a maximum output of 309 hp, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, with a WLTP range of 508 km. The higher-end Excellence trim is priced at £42,730 (approximately RMB 394,000), upgrading to a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 443 hp, achieving 0–100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and offering a WLTP range of 470 km. Both variants come standard with an 800V high-voltage platform, supporting 220 kW fast charging (10%–80% in approximately 25 minutes), and feature a five-link rear suspension along with a cell-to-body integrated structure. Inside, the cabin includes an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch landscape-oriented central touchscreen compatible with Google’s ecosystem. The Excellence trim adds a head-up display (HUD), rear seat heating, and a panoramic sunroof. The vehicle offers a trunk capacity of 490 liters and a front trunk (frunk) of 95 liters, with a towing capacity of up to 1,500 kg.
