XPeng is accelerating its overseas expansion, aiming to double its international sales in 2024 and increase the share of revenue from international markets to 20%. The company will officially launch its G6 and G9 models in Mexico on March 25, marking a deeper push into the Latin American market. Amid intensifying competition and slowing demand growth in China’s domestic market, XPeng views overseas markets as a core growth driver and has been steadily expanding in regions like Europe. Additionally, XPeng achieved its first quarterly profit in Q4 2025, becoming the latest Chinese EV startup—after NIO, Li Auto, and Leapmotor—to reach profitability. The company has also previously set a target for overseas operations to contribute over 70% of its profits by 2030.
