Recently, official images of XPeng's new flagship large 6-seater SUV, the GX, have been revealed. The vehicle features a light gold exterior, split headlights, flush door handles, and a floating roof design. It measures 5,265 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,115 mm. The GX will be offered in both all-electric and extended-range variants. The all-electric version delivers a maximum range of 750 km, while the extended-range model offers 320 km of pure electric range. Both versions are equipped with dual-motor all-wheel drive systems and can reach a top speed of 200 km/h. A standout feature is its world-first mass-produced implementation of Bosch’s next-generation steer-by-wire system. The GX natively supports Level 4 autonomous driving and integrates over 100 functions—marking the first time this technology has been deployed on a vehicle priced under RMB 500,000. The XPeng GX has already been included in China’s purchase tax exemption list and is expected to officially launch between April and May this year.
