WeRide Hits Record $960M Revenue in 2025, Aims to Deploy Tens of Thousands of Robotaxis by 2030

WeRide, an autonomous driving company, recently released its 2025 financial results: annual revenue reached RMB 690 million, up 90% year-over-year, marking a record high. Revenue from its Robotaxi business alone amounted to RMB 150 million, surging 209.6% year-over-year. The company achieved a gross margin of 30% for the full year, narrowed its net loss by 34.2% compared to the previous year, and held cash reserves of RMB 7.1 billion. As of the end of 2025, WeRide operated a Robotaxi fleet of 1,125 vehicles—over 800 of which were deployed in China—serving cities including Beijing and Guangzhou. Its services have been integrated into platforms such as AutoNavi (Gaode Map) and Tencent Mobility. WeRide plans to deploy 2,600 Robotaxis globally by the end of 2026 and scale up to tens of thousands by 2030. Its operations are already live in 12 countries and over 40 cities worldwide.
