Dongfeng Citroën has officially launched the new C5 X, offering three variants with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) ranging from RMB 141,700 to RMB 186,700. A limited-time fixed promotional price is available from RMB 113,700 to RMB 153,700 (including trade-in subsidies). The new model retains the brand’s signature split-headlamp design and full-width daytime running lights, while adding a new "Firefly Red" HYPNOS emblem. It is available in five exterior colors and offers 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels. Measuring 4,805 mm long, 1,865 mm wide, and 1,505 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,785 mm, the C5 X boasts a trunk capacity of 545 liters, expandable to 1,640 liters when the rear seats are folded down. Interior highlights include standard equipment such as a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch central touchscreen (upgraded to 12 inches on higher trims), along with ergonomically designed comfort seats. Higher trims offer power adjustment, heating/ventilation, and massage functions. All variants are powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine producing 129 kW (175 hp) and 250 N·m of torque, paired with an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also features PHC hydraulic suspension and three driving modes. On the tech front, the C5 X comes equipped with the C-Connect 3.0 infotainment system supporting voice interaction. Driver-assistance features vary by trim level, with higher-end models including lane-change assist and blind-spot monitoring. Additional purchase incentives include 24-month zero-interest financing, lifetime engine warranty, and digital key gifts for the first 3,000 buyers.
