On March 24, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that Ford Motor Company will recall 254,640 vehicles in the United States. The recall is due to an issue affecting certain vehicles in which the rearview camera image may be lost, potentially impacting the proper operation of some advanced driver-assistance systems and increasing the risk of a crash. Ford is working with regulators to address the defect as quickly as possible and ensure customer safety.
