On March 24, Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division, revealed that the Song Ultra EV will officially launch on March 26 and will be delivered immediately upon launch. The pre-sale price starts at RMB 155,000, with two range options: 605 km and 710 km. Selected trims can be optionally equipped with the "God’s Eye B" LiDAR system for an additional RMB 9,900. The default interior color is Sea Salt Grey, while Muyun Grey will become available after launch—though with a slightly longer delivery lead time. Buyers will enjoy one year of complimentary fast-charging privileges, further reducing ownership costs. In terms of safety, the vehicle features ultra-high-strength steel accounting for 77% of the body structure, leading its segment. The Song Ultra EV is already on display at dealerships in multiple exterior colors, including Yanlan Purple and Huoyan Grey, and features a youthful, minimalist interior design with a floating center console screen, a two-spoke steering wheel, and numerous practical functions.
