Qijing Auto announced that its first model—the Huawei Qiankun | Qijing GT7 intelligent shooting brake—will officially launch in June. On March 24, Liu Jiaming, CEO of Qijing Auto, revealed that the company has completed the unification of its brand and corporate name, with the former "Huawang Automotive Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd." now renamed to "Qijing Intelligent Automotive Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd." This move marks Qijing's transition from strategic preparation into a new phase of market-oriented operations. The brand, jointly developed by GAC Group and Huawei Qiankun, made its global debut on March 17. The name "Qijing" signifies opening a new realm of intelligent mobility: "Qi" represents seizing the opportunities of the era, while "Jing" symbolizes expanding the boundaries of user mobility. Its English name, AISTALAND, derives from "AI Start New Land," underscoring its commitment to driving new automotive experiences through AI.
