Qijing Auto recently announced the unification of its brand and corporate name and confirmed that its first model, the GT7, will officially launch in June. Positioned as an intelligent shooting brake coupe, the GT7 measures 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. The vehicle features 14 aerodynamic optimizations and offers three custom paint finishes and six exterior color options. All variants utilize an 8-coat 3C2B painting process, co-developed with BASF to create the exclusive “Reflection in the Clouds” paint finish. Exterior highlights include 21-inch gloss-black alloy wheels and German Continental four-piston calipers. Inside, the cabin embraces a minimalist, tech-forward design, equipped with an 88-inch HUAWEI XHUD augmented reality head-up display and the HUAWEI SOUND AI Star Ring audio system. In terms of intelligence, the GT7 integrates Huawei’s Qiankun Chitu platform, an 896-line LiDAR system, and the next-generation XiaoYi AI assistant, with hardware pre-installed to support Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities. Powering the GT7 is a tri-motor system paired with CATL’s Qilin battery, supporting an 800V high-voltage architecture and 6C ultra-fast charging—delivering 1 kilometer of range per second of charging.
