The 2026 Zhengzhou Nissan Z9 family will officially launch on March 26 in the rainforest wilderness of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. The debut event will feature an extreme off-road challenge through pristine rainforests to showcase the vehicle’s robust off-road capabilities and all-scenario adaptability. The new model retains the overall design of the current version, featuring a highly distinctive front fascia with a "Z"-shaped grille and scimitar-inspired accents. At the rear, the taillights incorporate an internal "Z"-shaped structure connected by a black trim strip. The Z9 GTS variant stands out with significant updates, including a black mesh grille, a high-mounted snorkel, and all-terrain tires, giving it a more rugged, mech-inspired aesthetic. Powertrain options include three configurations: gasoline (2.0T petrol or 2.3T diesel) and plug-in hybrid (1.5T engine plus electric motor). The plug-in hybrid system delivers a maximum combined output of 320 kW and peak torque of 800 N·m. The Mountain Edition is expected to receive further power enhancements and upgraded features.
