Recently, Tier IV, an open-source autonomous driving software company, announced a deepened strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to jointly advance Level 4 (L4) autonomous driving. The two companies will integrate NVIDIA’s Alpamayo—comprising AI models, simulation frameworks, and physical AI datasets—and the Cosmos platform—which includes open-world foundation models, safety rules, and data processing libraries—into Autoware, the open-source autonomous driving software, as well as Tier IV’s Co-MLOps collaborative AI development platform. Additionally, Tier IV, together with NVIDIA and Isuzu, has launched a deployment project for autonomous buses, focusing on safety and scalability to accelerate the real-world implementation of autonomous driving technology.
