General Motors announced on March 25 that it is adding native Apple Assistant support via over-the-air (OTA) updates to several popular Buick and GMC models. The rollout includes the 2026 Buick Enclave and Envision, as well as the 2025–2026 GMC Yukon, Sierra EV, and Hummer EV. Combined with previously supported Cadillac and Chevrolet models, over 1.2 million GM vehicles across the U.S. can now access Apple Music directly through their infotainment systems—without requiring a connected iPhone. Additionally, new vehicle owners can enjoy up to eight years of complimentary audio streaming services, including Apple Music, through the OnStar Basic Plan.
