Subaru will officially unveil its fourth all-electric SUV at the New York Auto Show on April 1. The new model is powered by a 420-horsepower electric motor and features the brand’s signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, making it Subaru’s most powerful EV to date—surpassing the current Trailseeker, which produces 375 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. Teaser images reveal that the front headlight design continues the family styling language seen on the Trailseeker and Uncharted. Subaru currently offers three electric vehicles: the Uncharted, starting at $36,445; the Solterra (co-developed with Toyota), starting at $39,945; and the Trailseeker, starting at $41,445. The new SUV is expected to have a starting price of approximately $45,000. The unveiling will take place at 10:25 a.m. EDT on April 1 and will be streamed live.
