BYD Xia Launches March OTA Update: Refreshed DiLink Cabin, Sentry Mode Adds USB Export

BYD Xia receives its March OTA update, introducing 16 new features and optimizing 10 user experiences. The DiLink intelligent cockpit UI has been completely refreshed, featuring a restructured page layout, smoother animations, and support for multiple dynamic themes—including cute pet and glasses-free 3D options. New additions include Ant Forest energy collection, automatic day/night mode switching for rear-seat displays, an in-car digital wooden fish mini-game, and a Quick Commands app. Music functionality sees significant upgrades: “Listen Together” now supports multi-screen collaboration; QQ Music debuts “AI Listening Companion” and Galaxy Sound Effects; KuGou adds Viper Sound Effects, along with data usage alerts and quick-access settings for “New Ways to Enjoy Music.” Sentinel Mode now supports uploading high-risk videos to the cloud (on select models) and allows local or USB-based video export, as well as fast transfer to smartphones via Wi-Fi. Additionally, steering wheel buttons now offer parking assistance shortcuts, and users can schedule the OTA update to install automatically overnight.
