Deepal Auto announced today that its one-millionth electric drive unit has officially rolled off the production line. The company will livestream a teardown of an electric drive system that has already traveled 512,000 kilometers on March 27 at 14:00, billed as the "first-ever global reveal of an ultra-high-efficiency electric drive." This move aims to showcase the durability and reliability of its electric drive products. Earlier, Deng Chenghao, Chairman of Deepal Auto, stated that although the new energy vehicle (NEV) market experienced a brief downturn at the beginning of the year due to the phase-out of purchase tax incentives, it has clearly rebounded since March. He emphasized that amid current high fuel prices, NEVs offer a significant advantage in terms of operating costs, and he expects the NEV penetration rate to reach a new record high this year.
