On March 25, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) and Sanming Transportation Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian Province, to jointly advance the low-carbon transformation of Sanming’s transportation sector. The collaboration will focus on three key areas: First, achieving 100% electrification of Sanming’s public bus fleet and promoting green mobility across the city. Second, establishing an after-sales service system for commercial vehicle power batteries through authorized service stations and CATL’s “Ning Home Service” model, offering maintenance and testing services. Third, jointly planning and building a city-wide battery swap network covering Sanming to provide diverse energy replenishment solutions for new energy vehicles. This partnership marks a critical step forward for Sanming in advancing public transport electrification and upgrading its energy infrastructure.
