Following its official integration into the BMW Group, the premium brand Alpina will debut its first models of the new generation to the public on May 15 at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Elegance in Italy. These new vehicles will be based on the all-new, upgraded BMW 7 Series sedan and X7 SUV, emphasizing “speed, comfort, and luxury”—a clear distinction from the track-focused M lineup. BMW stated that Alpina will operate as an independent premium brand, offering highly customized products with a strong emphasis on high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Although an all-electric version of the 7 Series has already been launched, BMW has not yet confirmed whether Alpina will follow suit with electrification, only noting that it is “keeping its technology options open.” In terms of design, Alpina maintains its signature refined and elegant aesthetic, creating a distinct contrast with the M series’ extreme sportiness.
