The iconic Porsche gathering Luftgekühlt made its Japanese debut on a decommissioned elevated section of Tokyo’s KK Line, drawing over 11,600 enthusiasts and showcasing 220 air-cooled Porsches. Founder Patrick Long said the overwhelming response far exceeded expectations, underscoring Japan’s deep-rooted Porsche culture. Following the Tokyo event, the Luft team will host an upgraded “Air|Water” show on April 25 at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California, featuring a broader range of Porsche models. Although the venue may not be as striking as Tokyo’s, the lineup of cars promises to be just as impressive.
