Recently, overseas media revealed a set of spy photos of the all-new Mercedes-AMG all-electric E-Class sedan undergoing testing. The new model will replace the current AMG EQE lineup and is positioned as a high-performance electric sedan, with an official launch expected in 2028. The test vehicle features an aggressive exterior design, highlighted by widened fenders, a complex front bumper, and aerodynamic blade-like accents. It rides on 21-inch wheels, retains conventional door handles, and sits low to the ground, giving it a distinctly sporty stance. At the rear, the car adopts a "ducktail" spoiler, suggesting it may not feature an automatic retractable rear wing. Under the hood, the vehicle will be powered by dual axial-flux electric motors and come standard with AMG’s 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. Combined output is rumored to reach 900 horsepower, with an estimated all-electric range exceeding 700 kilometers (approximately 435 miles). Currently still in the early stages of testing, further details about the vehicle are expected to be unveiled in the coming months.
