Volkswagen Anhui has officially launched pre-sales for its new mid-to-large all-electric SUV, the ID. Unyx 08, priced between RMB 239,900 and RMB 299,900. As a key product under Volkswagen’s “In China, For China” strategy, the vehicle comes standard across all trims with Brembo four-piston front calipers, dual-chamber air suspension, and an AI-powered predictive road-scanning system (“Magic Carpet”). It also debuts XPeng’s second-generation VLA end-to-end large-model intelligent driving system, equipped with 26 sensors and 1,500 TOPS of computing power, enabling urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) as well as full-scenario automated parking. Built on an 800V silicon carbide platform, the ID. Unyx 08 is available in rear-wheel-drive (230 kW) and all-wheel-drive (370 kW, 0–100 km/h in 4.9 seconds) variants, offering a maximum CLTC range of 730 km and supporting ultra-fast charging at up to 315 kW. The interior features an enveloping cockpit design, dual 15-inch 2.4K displays, and a Dolby Atmos surround sound system.
