On March 26, Ruipu Lanjun (HKEX: 00666) released its 2025 financial results: total revenue reached RMB 24.334 billion, up 36.7% year-over-year; net profit stood at RMB 681 million, marking a successful turnaround from losses to profitability. The strong performance was primarily driven by a significant increase in lithium battery shipments, with annual sales volume reaching 82.7 GWh—a surge of 89.2% compared to the previous year. Notably, revenue from energy storage batteries amounted to RMB 13.561 billion, up 86.8% year-over-year, surpassing the traction battery segment (RMB 10.013 billion in revenue, up 35.6%) for the first time to become the company’s core growth engine. The company has established a three-pronged business layout encompassing energy storage, passenger vehicles, and commercial vehicles. In 2025, Ruipu Lanjun ranked first globally in residential energy storage cell shipments and fifth worldwide in total energy storage cell shipments. In the traction battery segment, it secured the second-highest installation volume for new-energy heavy-duty trucks nationwide and ranked seventh nationally in lithium iron phosphate (LFP) traction battery shipments.
